About us
Bexar County Economic and Community Development (BCECD) is charged with investing and leveraging federal, state and local resources in order to ensure that community members receive the empowerment services that will improve their quality of life while making an economic impact in Bexar County. Services offered range from CEAP funded utility assistance to HUD funded housing rehabilitation and construction of infrastructure and public facilities. Bexar County's Economic and Community Development accomplishes its mission of facilitating significant change in Bexar County through the investment of appropriate resources in five divisions. Each division focuses on its area of specialty to keep "growing our economy" and "strengthening our community" through the careful, deliberate use of appropriate tools and resources.

"Cafecito with the County Clerk" was a resounding success in its second installment. Bexar County Clerk, Hon. Lucy Adame-Clark and her staff collaborated with Bexar County Department of Military and Veterans Services, Bexar County Tax Assessor, Bexar County Economic and Community Development, Bexar Appraisal District, and TX Fast Track to engage with City of Somerset, Texas residents and discuss the resources and services provided by each office. Each department had a representative present in a town hall setting, followed by a table visit for further information. As evident, many benefited from this visit to rural Bexar County, and we eagerly anticipate returning next week to deliver our services.🤩 We sincerely thank all the offices who took time to engage with the Somerset community. Our next visit will be Thursday, February 27th, 8am-12pm with our full Records on the Run services. All the offices will join us as well. 🗓️ #bexarcountyclerk #countyclerkbc #somerset #resources
