We provide the Bible in accurate translations so more people around the world can be transformed by Jesus Christ.

About us

Our mission is to provide the Bible in accurate, contemporary translations and formats so that more people around the world will have the opportunity to be transformed by Jesus Christ. Biblica is a global Bible ministry inspired by radical generosity. For more than 200 years, Biblica has helped people around the globe through the reach of God’s Word to discover the love of Jesus Christ. We know that God’s Word transforms lives, churches, communities, and countries. God’s heart is for all of mankind to know Him through His Word and to bring His kingdom to earth. As we push into our third century as a ministry, Biblica continues to partner with like-minded organizations to minister God’s Word in 55 countries. Our global ministry includes Bible translation, Bible access, and Bible engagement programs that produce relevant and reliable Scripture translations and resources that minister to people on the margins of the Gospel—the unreached, unengaged, unseen, and unwanted.

Did you know that Biblica partnered with @WorldVision to distribute 5,000 Spanish New Testaments all across #Mexico? It’s called the “Palabras de Esperanza” program. By completing the program, all participants will have read through the entire New Testament. The local churches we are supplying Bibles to are encouraging families to read God’s Word together rather than individually. That means children and adults will read the #Bible together rather than following different tracks. Families will be on the same page (literally) together! Join us in praying for the success and impact of this ministry as families immerse themselves in #GodsWord.

The last of our four core values here at Biblica is #Trailblazing. “We break down barriers to the Bible.” #GodsWord, though readily available in many parts of the world, is incredibly difficult to access in others. The threefold barriers of poverty, political oppression, and religious persecution keep many communities cut off from the life-giving Word of God. That’s why Biblica is committed to try things no one else is trying to reach people no one else is reaching. Trailblazing is a core value for us because it is so vital that all people have access to God’s Word. His power can transform people, communities, and even entire nations. We’ll do whatever it takes to break down barriers to the Bible and bring God’s Word to the ends of the earth. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” -Acts 1:8 (NIV)

This week, the Biblica core value we want to highlight is “Faithful.” We relentlessly follow Christ. Following Christ is a lifelong journey, a decision to be made and acted upon daily. Jesus, on several occasions, said, “Follow me.” It’s no mistake that this instruction was given repeatedly. During His earthly ministry, those who were obedient and stayed faithful to His call knew Jesus personally and witnessed His powerful ministry firsthand. And that same promise stands for us today. When we faithfully follow Christ — even when it’s hard — we get to experience sweet friendship with God and are equipped with His power for our daily lives. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.’” —Matthew 16:24 (NIV)
