Did you know that Biblica partnered with @WorldVision to distribute 5,000 Spanish New Testaments all across #Mexico? It’s called the “Palabras de Esperanza” program. By completing the program, all participants will have read through the entire New Testament. The local churches we are supplying Bibles to are encouraging families to read God’s Word together rather than individually. That means children and adults will read the #Bible together rather than following different tracks. Families will be on the same page (literally) together! This week, the Biblica core value we want to highlight is “Faithful.” We relentlessly follow Christ. Following Christ is a lifelong journey, a decision to be made and acted upon daily. Jesus, on several occasions, said, “Follow me.” It’s no mistake that this instruction was given repeatedly. During His earthly ministry, those who were obedient and stayed faithful to His call knew Jesus personally and witnessed His powerful ministry firsthand. And that same promise stands for us today. When we faithfully follow Christ — even when it’s hard — we get to experience sweet friendship with God and are equipped with His power for our daily lives. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.’” —Matthew 16:24 (NIV)
