January is National Mentoring Month, and I had the incredible opportunity to represent Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana on Fox 59 this morning, alongside our amazing CEO! We discussed the life-changing benefits of becoming a mentor, shared insights about our impactful program and I even got to share my personal journey—starting as a Little and now proudly serving as a Big Brother and working there currently! It’s truly an honor to represent this incredible organization and our mission to ignite potential in young people! A huge congrats to Charlotte Crayton, our latest Drive to Do More recipient! Charlotte has been an incredible mentor and role model through her 9+ year match with Crystal at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana. Together, they’ve built a relationship rooted in consistency, intentionality and a shared passion for giving back to their community. From creating essentials bags for individuals experiencing homelessness to encouraging a mindset of service, Charlotte is helping Crystal grow into a compassionate, goal-oriented young leader. As Crystal prepares to graduate high school, Charlotte is already planning ways to support her future dreams, including a heartfelt surprise to commemorate their journey together. Thank you, Charlotte, for your unwavering dedication and for being such an inspiring force in Crystal’s life and beyond. You truly embody the spirit of making a difference! ❤️
