It’s official — Apple has arrived at Miami Worldcenter, strengthening #DowntownMiami's reputation as a hub for world-class experiences. #MiamiWorldcenter, a $6 billion mixed-use destination in #DowntownMiami spanning 27 acres, features world-class retail, hospitality and residential spaces across 10 city blocks, transforming what was previously a sea of empty surface parking and low-rise industrial buildings into a thriving ‘city within a city’ that has attracted global brands and development partners from around the world. “Miami is a city with a history, culture, and life all its own, and we are thrilled to capture that energy with Apple Miami Worldcenter in downtown Miami,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People. #AppleMiamiWorldcenter features a biophilic design that helps connect customers to the beautiful green spaces surrounding the store. Created from the ground up to reflect Apple’s values, Apple Miami Worldcenter is built with the environment in mind using a regionally sourced mass timber structure and other low-carbon materials, which significantly reduced the carbon intensity of its construction. Like all Apple facilities, Apple Miami Worldcenter’s operations run on 100 percent renewable energy and are carbon neutral. Apple Miami Worldcenter is NOW OPEN to the public at 100 NE 8th Street.
