We founded Birthing the Magic Collaborative in response to the alarming Black maternal health crisis, as well as after hearing the harrowing stories of women who had traumatic birth experiences. Since our launch, we’ve remained committed to providing culturally safe, evidence-based education and support for Black mothers and those who care for them. We’ve hosted 65 workshops in just two years, reaching nearly 4,000 attendees. Anecdotally, we know our work is impactful because mothers and their supporters have been deeply engaged, sharing how our programs have assisted them in navigating pregnancy, birth, and beyond. As we celebrate our second anniversary, we are excited to have Dorian Webb and Cedric Brown Collections showcase their stunning designs for a special evening of fashion, artistry, and impact through our virtual fashion show!
