Solar Panels are underperforming! Solar Panel have a theoretical efficiency (ability to turn sunlight into usable energy) of 21 - 22% but in practice, its closer to 15-18%! Why? Simple things like dust and direct can cover the surface of the panel, blocking sunlight and making them less effective unless they're cleaned regularly, which cost time and money. At the same time, a typical panel loses 0.3 - 0.5% efficency for every degree Celsius above the optimal temperature (25°C/ 77°F). This is where TriNANO Technologies, a India based company founded by Harsh Sethi comes in. TriNano developed a patent pending nano coating that can be applied on new and existing solar panel which 1) Traps Lights - Increasing Light absorption 2) Stops dirt, oil and bird dropping from sticking onto panel 3) Anti Reflection: Minimizes glare which improves overall energy output The results from initial POCs and implementation have been amazing. Here are a few stats from the pilots. - Energy Output increase by 4 - 9%. - Reduces cleaning from twice a week to once every 2 months. - Extends panel lifespan by lowering temperature by 2-3°C. - ROI is achieved in around 2 years Interested in learning more about TriNano? Did you know: Airlines are losing significant potential revenue by operating flights with largely unused (around 85%) cargo space. This inefficiency is largely due to outdated legacy cargo software that often relies on paper-based processes and spreadsheets. This is where Belli, a Singapore-based company founded by Jeff Pan, steps in. Belli has developed a B2B software platform that provides airlines with real-time visibility into available cargo capacity, enabling them to optimize loading for maximum weight and volume utilization. The platform also automates the coordination of warehouse and trucking systems before and after flights, simplifying and streamlining operations. Whilst only a few months old, Belli has successfully managed win 90% of the Air Cargo Market in the Philippines through partnerships with five Airlines. Interested in learning more? Many industries, (skincare, luxury retail...) are under increasing pressure to replace animal-derived products with more ethical and sustainable alternatives. While cell agriculture is considered a viable option, it is currently too costly and challenging to scale. This is where Cellivate Technologies comes in. Cellivate led by Viknish Krishnan-Kutty, PhD, has developed a series of proprietary solutions that enable their clients to cultivate cells at significantly reduced costs. Discover more about Cellivate's innovative technology and business strategies in our featured article using the link the comments below!

Construction equipment requires a significant amount of power, but accessing this power from the grid can be difficult and involves a lengthy request process. As a result, construction sites often rely on diesel generators to meet their power needs. However, these generators have several drawbacks: - They emit harmful air pollutants. - They tend to be noisy. - They are prone to downtime, causing operational disruptions. - They have a high carbon footprint. To address these issues, Ampd Energy (founded by Brandon Ng and Luca Valente "卢卡") introduced the Entertainer, an energy storage system specifically designed for construction projects to replace diesel generators. The Entertainer significantly reduces CO2 emissions, lowers operating costs, and creates a cleaner, quieter environment.
