Liza earned a place on the Board after she and her moot court partner, UM Law student Kathleen Black, advanced through the semi-final round of the John T. Gaubatz Moot Court Competition. Liza submitted a written brief and presented oral argument in two preliminary rounds and three subsequent knockout rounds, culminating with her win last week. The Miami Law Moot Court Board recruits and trains the finest oral and written student advocates at Miami Law and is considered the most prestigious advocacy program at the law school. The Board is ranked #1 among moot court programs in Florida and #10 in the Nation.
