About us

The Blue Angels flew their first air show in Jacksonville, Florida on the 15th of June, 1946. We have over 200 members in the Blue Angels Association. Some of us go back to the very first team. We are a very unique alumni group who were fortunate to be selected to represent Naval Aviation and our country. Our mission is to to promote the general welfare of the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, “The Blue Angels”, and its predecessor organization, The United States Navy Flight Demonstration Team, and to preserve and maintain the high standards, customs, and traditions of these organizations and the members and former members thereof. The BAA is a nonprofit corporation consisting of former members of the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, and is not part of the United States Navy. No endorsement, express or implied, of the BAA or its activities is made by the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, or the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron. Use of the Blue Angels crest is used with the express permission of the United States Navy.

We’re proud to be part of an incredible milestone for veterans and their families in NWFL! After years of planning and with the dedication of our partners Home Base Florida and Lakeview Center, the new outpatient clinic in Pensacola is now open. This launch would not have been possible without the efforts of our donors, community partners, dignitaries, and local legislators who have been committed to this cause from day one. Together, we’re making meaningful strides in improving access to vital care for those who’ve served. (photos from Home Base Florida)

We are veterans helping veterans. At the Blue Angels Foundation, this isn’t just a phrase—it’s our mission. As former service members, we know firsthand the challenges our fellow veterans face as they transition back to civilian life. That’s why we are committed to standing by their side, offering the support they need to heal and thrive. Through strategic partnerships, we support organizations that are making a difference in the lives of veterans every day, including: 🔵Programs offering PTSD treatment to address the invisible wounds of war, such as post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. 🔵Service dog organizations that provide veterans with specially trained companions to help with emotional and physical challenges. 🔵Job training and placement programs that help veterans find meaningful employment and build successful post-military careers. Together, we are building a brighter future for veterans. Together, we are saving lives. (Thank you to Blue Angel Phantoms for the video.
