About us
Blue Ridge Literacy offers English tutoring and classes to the ESOL population as well as American born individuals who want to improve their literacy skills. BRL was founded over 30 years ago under the name of Literacy Volunteers of the Roanoke Valley. Over the past decade BRL Blue Ridge Literacy has worked hard to meet the literacy needs of our changing local community. Partnering with many organizations in the valley Blue Ridge Literacy now serves over 400 adult learners.
