Construction history is being made as City of Miami’s first supertall skyscraper, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences, continues to rise along Biscayne Boulevard. The long-awaited monumental tower has taken hold of the corner of NE 3rd Street and Biscayne Boulevard, with its imposing shell and angular base now making a commanding statement in the heart of Downtown Miami. Progress has now reached the second cube of the tower’s iconic nine-cube design, marking a key milestone in the journey to its eventual 1,049-foot height and 100 stories. Formwork has progressed to around the 12th floor, with the second cube taking shape above the uniquely angled base. Structural work is well-advanced, with visible progress in the concrete and formwork beginning to define the tower’s distinct stacked design. It is only a matter of time before the building asserts its place in Miami’s skyline, with each new floor bringing it closer to its transformative impact on the city’s urban fabric. Upon completion in 2028, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami will stand as Florida’s tallest building and the tallest residential structure south of New York City. It will feature 205 hotel guestrooms and suites alongside 387 luxury residential units, offering a blend of world-class hospitality and upscale living. The tower will include a curated array of amenities, such as a signature restaurant, an expansive pool deck, event spaces, and a hospitality suite. Designed to provide unparalleled experiences for residents and guests, the development aims to set a new standard of luxury in Downtown Miami. The unique cube-shaped architecture defines the building’s aesthetic and provides expansive layouts with breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the city skyline. Property Markets Group (PMG), Greybrook Realty Partners, Mohari Hospitality, and S2 Development LLC are developing the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami in partnership with Hilton. SIEGER SUAREZ ARCHITECTS, LLC, designed the tower in collaboration with Carlos Ott. John Moriarty & Associates is the general contractor, CHM Structural Engineers is the structural engineer, and GRAEF is the civil engineer. Capform Inc. is the turnkey concrete contractor, and Power Design, Inc., is the electrical contractor. BAMO is handling the interiors. STRUCTURAL BUILDERS & RESTORATIONS is handling waterproofing.

A huge shoutout to our incredible construction, development, and real estate teams for their phenomenal work on this project!
Disruptive Real Estate is incredibly proud to have played a pivotal role in orchestrating the deal for the property that will soon become The Wynwood Plaza, now nearing completion. Finalizing this transaction during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic was no small feat. Despite market challenges, we united all previous property owners to assemble and sell the site, paving the way for this transformative mixed-use campus. Our perseverance ensured that the vision for Wynwood Plaza could come to life. At Disruptive, we defy convention, and this project exemplifies our ability to achieve extraordinary results. Wynwood Plaza is set to become a one-million-square-foot mixed-use campus redefining Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Developed by L&L Holding Company and Oak Row Equities, with project partner Shorenstein Realty Services, co-investor Claure Group, and Moss & Associates (Construction) as the general contractor, the 12-story complex blends workspace, living, and leisure. Designed by Gensler, Wynwood Plaza will deliver Class AAA offices, luxury residences, and vibrant retail, with completion expected by Q1 2025. Located at 95 Northwest 29th Street, Wynwood Plaza features a 266,000-square-foot glass-clad office tower, 32,000 square feet of retail and dining, and 509 residential units from studios to two-bedroom apartments. Its 26,000-square-foot Grand Plaza, designed by James Corner Field Operations, offers lush landscaping and an art-filled pedestrian paseo for residents and visitors. Notable office tenants include Claure Group, which has its headquarters in a 25,400-square-foot space, and Weitz & Luxenberg PC , opening an 18,000-square-foot Miami office. The tenant mix is expected to include corporate, creative, and tech firms. Set in the heart of Wynwood, the project combines public art, green spaces, and a lively paseo with upscale residences, dynamic workspaces, and curated retail. Wynwood Plaza honors the district’s artistic roots while embracing Miami’s future. The design of Wynwood Plaza balances contemporary minimalism with bold colors and materials, adding an artistic edge to Miami’s skyline. The sleek glass façade of the office tower reflects the vibrant sky, while white fins create a rhythmic play of light and shadow. Adjacent residential buildings are clad in muted greens, burnt oranges, and pastels, subtly nodding to Wynwood’s colorful murals. Vertical bands of windows form a grid-like pattern on the facades, with rectangular frames that add depth and rhythm across each structure. The contrast of glass with stucco finishes and strong vertical and horizontal lines brings a sense of modern dynamism, honoring the creative soul of the Wynwood Arts District. 📽️ Blue Water Drones captured all of the media for Wynwood Plaza. Superstructure is progressing steadily at Eturna Residences Hollywood, located at 3319 North Ocean Drive, between New Mexico Street and New Hampshire Street, bound by North Surf Road to the east. Developed by Condra Property Group and Hansford Boca, this residential development is, per our latest aerial captures, rising through its fourth story, with decking for the fifth floor actively underway. Rebar is meticulously arranged across the site, reinforcing all concrete elements to ensure robust structural integrity as the building ascends. Post-tension cables are also being laid within the slab formwork, enhancing strength and flexibility in design and allowing optimal load-bearing efficiency across the floors. Designed by Kaller Architecture, the building will ultimately stand seven stories tall, featuring 36 luxury Beach Villas and Residences. Each new level adds dimension to this waterfront structure, with every floor further defining its form near the coastline. NYEG Corp and ALL ISLAND MASONRY & CONCRETE are involved in the construction efforts, contributing to the collaborative momentum toward Eturna’s anticipated 2025 completion. #bluewaterdrones #construction #photography #drone #dronephotography #aerialphotography #hollywood #florida #newdevelopment #residential #condominium #formwork #superstructure

Construction is steadily advancing at the 7-story Sarasota Memorial Hospital Cancer Pavilion. Dominating the landscape, LAVORANTI’s WOLFFKRAN Wolff 8033 crane serves as the central anchor, lifting materials and driving the structure’s impressive vertical progress. Designed by EYP and led by Turner Construction Company, with support from J2 Solutions, Inc., the project has reached a significant milestone with the commencement of the first elevated deck. Concrete columns and rising formwork continue to shape the framework, reflecting the seamless coordination and precision of the teams as they bring this vital addition to the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System closer to reality. #ConstructionUpdate #Construction #Healthcare #BlueWaterDrones #SarasotaMemorialHospital #DronePhotography #AerialImagery #ProjectMilestones #Sarasota

From rendering to reality, Una Residences has reached a remarkable stage in its construction journey. Topping off earlier this year at 579 feet and 47 stories, the ultra-luxury condominium tower is making swift strides on the exterior with the installation of floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls enveloping the superstructure. Protective films are being removed from the expansive panels, revealing a high-quality, translucent finish that enhances the building’s light, airy aesthetic. Light metallic panels cover the slab edges, steadily coming together to resemble a striking silhouette that recalls the natural shape of a wave. Developed by OKO Group and Cain International, the project is being constructed by CIVIC CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES in partnership with Ant Yapı. Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture (AS+GG) led the design, with Revuelta Architecture International as the architect of record. Triton Construction Company serves as an owner-hired consultant, while DeSimone Consulting Engineering is the structural engineer. VSN Engineering Inc. is the civil engineer. Enea is overseeing the landscape architecture. Vico Painting Contractors is onboard as the waterproofing contractor. Morrow is the crane operator. Completion is anticipated in 2025.
