For 6 months, I've debated making the BlueAcquire list builder publicly accessible. Currently, it's an internal tool I use to build comprehensive lists of local businesses. Example: 91k+ electricians in the US These lists are used by my clients to acquire local businesses and/or sell to them. I'd like to schedule 10 calls next week with potential users of this tool (were it to be made accessible). What you will get: A free nationwide list of any local business type. What I will get: Your candid feedback on the value of the tool and what you would have paid to use it. If interested, please reach out and I'll send a link for a 20min call. #data #gotomarket

What does good look like in Home Services? I analyzed 245,918 businesses in the US. Think garbage collection, house cleaning, lawn care, pest control, pool cleaning, ... To beat 95% of companies in this space, you need 100+ Google reviews & a 4.0+ star rating. If you're buying these businesses, look for companies with 21 to 50 reviews. Post acquisition, invest in customer service, ask past customers for reviews (this can be automated), and target the 100+ review mark. Competition thins out dramatically. #homeservices #data

In the next 10 years, the US will face the largest business transition opportunity, ever. Consider these facts: 1. 99.9% of US businesses are classified as small businesses (SBA) 2. US small businesses employ 46.8% of private sector (SBE Council) 3. >50% of small business owners are 55+ years old (US Census Bureau) As Boomers retire, millions of businesses will be transitioned, acquired, or closed. Facilitating this process is the BlueAcquire use case I enjoy most. Built a map of a few interesting verticals below: -Garbage collection -House cleaning -Lawn care -Pest control -Pool cleaning #silvertsunami #acquisition

In 5 months, BlueAcquire has generated 300+ customers for our clients. When it comes to outbound, it's about 1 thing: Reaching your prospects at the right time, with the right message. Channel efficacy is fluid, so you should experiment here. But don't write off outbound. In the words of Guillaume Moubeche: "Outbound will always be dead for those who don't know how to do it" and I'll add... "...and refuse to put in the work to learn it" #outbound #gotomarket

Customer Alumni Targeting. Worked on an interesting use-case this week. Client provided a list of their best customers, BlueAcquire scraped every employee that used to work at one of those companies, but recently moved to a new job (51k). We then filtered this alumni database to relevant job titles and high-ICP companies. Sourcing and verifying resulting emails today. This data will tee up an outbound customer alumni campaign. #gotomarket #b2b #outbound

Been awhile since the last #FreeDataFriday, so I'm bringing it back. Comment a local vertical / city combo and I'll build you a free niche company list for as many as I can today. (example: "Plumbers in Atlanta", "Car Washes in Austin", "Funeral Homes in San Francisco", "Crane Dealers in Boston") #gotomarket #entrepreneurship #acquisitions

Many don't understand how fast sales is changing. On the frontier, 1 growth ops pro is doing the job of 10+. They're using: ✅ Sales Navigator + BlueAcquire for TAM ✅ Apollo.io + Prospeo for emails ✅ LeadMagic for verification ✅ Clay (or OpenAI) for personalization ✅ Smartlead for warming + sending All automated with Make, n8n, Xano, etc. This leaves: 🔵 SDRs to focus on warm-ups and cold calls. 🔵 AEs to what they do best: closing. Scarcity driving innovation. #gotomarket #sales #data

The story your website tells is an important part of your lead gen strategy. Most buyers will look at your website as one of the top three things they will do (reviews and product walkthroughs being close seconds). I do these Brand Story Breakdowns, which were inspired by Peep Laja’s Do You Resonate videos. Anyway, I did one the other day for Will McCartney who runs BlueAcquire. Will does some awesome work for Home Services businesses looking to grow their revenue through outbound marketing but it really did not say that above the fold. Now, it does :-). This is the power of both reviewing your storytelling and testing it with customers. I’ll put the original Brand Story Breakdown (it’s a Loom) in the comments. #MarketingMorningPages #BrandStoryBreakdown #Founders #Startups #B2B
