We are proud to partner with Riley’s Way to share their Call For Kindness, which offers young changemakers (ages 13-23) the chance to participate in a dynamic Leadership Development Fellowship and win up to $5,000 in funding for a project that inspires kindness and strengthens their local, national, or global communities. Applications close on March 25th, 2024! Up to 40 youth-led projects will be awarded. In addition to the General Category, there will be ten awards focused on Education Equity, three awards in special category, A Kinder World for Animals Award, and one in each of the other special categories: Interfaith Connections and Dance and the Arts. Blue Future envisions a world where no matter our color or origin, our income or zip code, desire and determination are the only things getting in the way of young people’s ability to push for a transformative and progressive agenda. Blue Future equips the progressive movement with the best and brightest youth organizers. We pay young people, especially those longest denied access, to develop their leadership, organizing skills, and intrinsic belief in their own agency. In the process, we’re transforming our politics to be rooted in equity, justice and compassion as we organize for an economy, care system, and democracy that works for all of us. Mission To continuously engage, mobilize, and connect young people to progressive campaigns, equipping them with the resources, tools, skills, and network to be effective volunteers, organizers, and public servants.
