Happy Presidents Day!
Today, I'm spending time with our youngest son, who is recovering from Flu-A. We might catch a movie later. Meanwhile, our oldest son is immersed in auditions in LA (Santa Monica), where he relocated 2 years ago post his graduation from SJSU. Despite challenges like the writers' and actors' strikes, he remains resilient and focused on his goals. He's currently navigating the competitive entertainment industry, actively seeking representation in LA and honing his craft through workshops and skill-building activities.
It's a demanding field, but his determination and passion drive him forward. We're incredibly proud of his dedication and hard work. He keeps us updated through regular check-ins and FaceTime calls, sharing his experiences working on various projects for platforms like Netflix and Hulu, as well as ventures into modeling and web commercials. His commitment to growth is evident as he refines his online presence, including his YouTube channel.
My husband, Gary, and I frequently discuss the importance of pursuing one's passion, especially in a challenging industry like government. We emphasize the value of perseverance, even when faced with temporary setbacks or detours. Sometimes, the journey to your dream job may involve taking positions that aren't ideal but contribute to your overall growth and progress. The key is to remain dedicated, work diligently, and stay focused on your long-term goals. Success may not come overnight, but staying true to your path is essential.
