💡 Women Matter in Heart Failure Research 💡 The SCALE-HF 1 study stood out for its inclusion of a significant proportion of women, addressing a critical gap in heart failure research traditionally dominated by male participants (source: Parwani PJ, Van Spall HGC, Mamas M Representation of women in heart failure trials: does it matter? Heart 2022;108:1508-1509). Ensuring women were adequately represented in overall results, we demonstrated that Bodyport’s Fluid Management Care Platform offers effective monitoring, accurately predicting events 14 days earlier, doubling detection rates compared to weight-based monitoring, and significantly reducing false alerts. • 🚨 In heart failure care, timing is everything. Early intervention can mean the difference between managing a patient at home or sending them to the hospital. With Bodyport’s Fluid Monitoring Platform, providers are getting the actionable insights they need to stay ahead. As one provider shared: "With Bodyport, we’re able to accurately monitor fluid trends and be alerted up to 14 days in advance of patients developing an acute exacerbation of Cardiac Heart Failure, before they get to the point of hospitalization. By getting this information in time, we’re able to treat at home with diuretics or identify an incident due to diet or missed medication so we can get them on the right regimen again." Up to 14 days. That’s time to act, to adjust care plans, and to keep patients safe at home.
