Today is #GivingTuesday! 📖✨ For many kids, a book can be a window into a bigger world. This year, with your support, we’ve donated more than 5,000 books to children who might not otherwise have access to them through the Books & Books Literary Foundation. Each story is a new possibility, a spark of the imagination, a reason to dream. This #GivingTuesday, you can help us provide access to books and the authors behind them to kids who need them most. Your donation will bring our Meet an Author, Build a Library program to more kids in local schools. The love of book drives us. The power of community sustains us. Together, let’s open new doors—one book at a time. 🔗 Donate and share the gift of reading: https://lnkd.in/ee6enNQ2

In 2023, Mitchell Kaplan and Books & Books opened a new chapter and launched the Books & Books Literary Foundation. The Foundation provides access to books, community events, and a space to promote the free exchange of ideas. After 40+ years of nurturing a community of South Florida readers at the bookstore, the introduction of the Books & Books Literary Foundation was a natural next step. Rooted in the love of books and the belief in the power of reading, The Foundation is expanding community programming and ensuring that it endures for generations to come. You are invited to join the journey of the Books & Books Literary Foundation as it makes its (book)mark on the community. Follow along for event announcements, a celebration of non-profit partners, and a behind the scenes look at the team hard at work.
