This week, BOSS Homes was thrilled to be invited to a small gathering with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass in Downtown Los Angeles. The Mayor's first "Innovation in Housing Construction" meeting was a huge success, bringing together city leaders and community stakeholders to discuss housing and homelessness challenges in LA. We participated in several small group discussions with key city department staff to learn more about stakeholders’ experiences developing housing within the City of Los Angeles, particularly navigating city policies and requirements and utilizing innovative housing solutions like BOSS Homes. We are proud to be working alongside Mayor Bass and her entire team to address unsheltered homelessness!" 

Thanks to everyone who toured our BOSS Cubez home yesterday at the League of California Cities Expo! BOSS offers California Cities a dignified and affordable solution to homelessness in approximately 90 days without an RFP. BOSS has built over 500 homes in communities throughout California, including in Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Eureka, Modesto, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles. We had a great time at the Los Angeles Prefabrication, Modular & Mass Timber Conference yesterday! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn about BOSS Homes and our Factury-Manufactured Affordable Housing including Modular ADUs, HCD Certified Buildings, and Interim Housing Cabins.

We are making great progress on the newest interim housing community under construction in Sacramento. Working with the State of California, BOSS is building 155 units on Stockton Boulevard to house people experiencing homelessness. These California-State-approved BOSS Cubez have special design features such as air conditioning and double-glazed windows and come fully furnished with beds, desks, shelves, and window shades—providing dignified living spaces to future residents. #endhomelessness #builtonsitesystems #bosscubez

Last Thursday, BOSS was asked to participate in an event at the California State Capitol to support SB 1395, the Interim Housing Act. Appearing alongside State Senator Josh Becker (D-Menlo Park), San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, as well as DignityMoves, BOSS showcased our CUBE 144 model, highlighting our statewide partnership with the State of California, as well as the importance of supporting and approving SB 1395, the Interim Housing Act.
