A public-private partnership dedicated to making high-quality, year-round learning accessible to all Boston youth.
About us
Boston After School & Beyond (Boston Beyond) is a public-private partnership that creates and strengthens learning and development opportunities for Boston’s youth. To do so, Boston Beyond catalyzes partnerships among the City of Boston, including the Boston Centers for Youth and Families and the Boston Public Schools, local and national funders, and leading program providers. Boston Beyond's work is based on the notion that young people require opportunities to acquire knowledge, skills, and experiences that will enable them succeed in school, college, work, and life. Boston Beyond's approach is to build systems and partnerships that draw on the strengths of schools, community agencies, and other stakeholders. By collectively pursuing shared goals, identifying measurable indicators and outcomes, and playing to one’s strengths in partnership, organizations can have a greater impact on the young people they serve.
