  • Join our team! We are looking for a part-time IATSE Union Liaison to support BRIC's California Arts, Media & Entertainment High Road℠ Training Partnership (AME-HRTP)! The IATSE Union Liaison will play a pivotal role in advancing the AME-HRTP mission by collaborating with participating locals to implement and enhance union pathway initiatives. The AME-HRTP is the first-large scale, multi-year initiative to bridge training and education programs with employment and drive economic mobility for underrepresented AME workers in California’s creative economy.     In celebration of #NationalApprenticeshipWeek, Team DEO, in partnership with @bricfoundation and @SBWIB, is thrilled to announce a $1.5M investment to expand the Arts, Media & Entertainment High Road Training Partnership (AME-HRTP)! 💼✨ This initiative will empower underserved communities, especially those impacted by COVID, with access to high-quality training, career coaching, mentorship, and paid on-the-job experience in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industries. 🌟 With a focus on high-skill, high-wage roles in Film/TV, Animation, VFX, Games, Music, Live Events, and more, this program also fosters union training and mentorship for lasting career opportunities.     It’s #NationalApprenticeshipWeek, and California is making waves in Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) education with groundbreaking investments in youth apprenticeship programs! Over 261,000 students are enrolled in AME pathways statewide, supported by the 2024 Industry Skills Framework aligning Career Technical Education (CTE) with apprenticeships. Thanks to $20.8 million in funding from the CDE, California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, California Workforce Development Board, and others, innovative partnerships are transforming career pathways.
