Under the Briggs & Stratton umbrella, we have several brands and product lines, many of which work seamlessly together. Our Vanguard engines and batteries power several of our brands, including Billy Goat and Ferris. Below, our marketers worked together on a last-minute request to shoot some product photos that could be used across our brands to highlight our One Briggs approach to powering our products. Our employees are powered by spontaneity, so they jumped into action! “I was doing a Ferris photoshoot when I was asked to capture video of a Billy Goat product with a Vanguard engine as my colleague was on deadline, and his phone shots weren’t good. My motto is, ‘whatever it takes,’ so I was happy to help the broader team.” - Chad Ofiara, marketing manager, Ferris Commercial Mowers “My colleague asked if I could get a Billy Goat blower to Chad. I had no idea how to get the blower from the R&D building to our back lawn–while wearing heels–but I got it done. It was nice Chad stayed late and helped. I got great content for Vanguard out of it, too, as the product used our swappable battery.” - Nina Penson, marketing manager, Vanguard Commercial Power. #BriggsandStratton #OneBriggs #PoweredByPossibilities #CollaborativeSpirit

2024 is Briggs & Stratton Shanghai's 30th anniversary year! To celebrate the occasion, employees united for a Love Shanghai, Love Briggs Citywalk event. The 5K walk along the Suzhou River was a powerful symbol of our One Briggs spirit, strengthening the team’s camaraderie. We wish our employees in Shanghai a happy anniversary! We appreciate all you do. #OneBriggs #BriggsandStratton #PoweredByPossibilities #EmployeeExperience #Teamwork #Shanghai

AI isn’t just a buzzword at Briggs & Stratton. It’s an essential tool we use to advance operational efficiency. It also provides opportunities for employees across the business to partner with IT to achieve their goals. IT's expertise provides endless possibilities with AI. "We wanted to migrate CAD drawings, but the ERP system didn't have all the revisions needed to migrate properly. Google Gemini searched the 11,000 files, validated 5,000 revisions and produced 100 missing revisions. Great learning opportunity for our team," said John Nagel, mechanical engineer IV. "AI avoided someone going through 11,000 documents one by one. Collaborating with John, I better understood their challenges, and I am thinking about how I can help with other projects. It's opening up more use cases, which is a victory," said Michael Boeselager, director of IT. #BriggsandStratton #OneBriggs #PoweredByPossibilites #AI

This week, the Briggs & Stratton motorsports team hosted an interactive Discovery Series, It Starts in a Kart, for employees to learn about the motorsports division's 33-year history, the high-tech, high-touch assembly process in Milwaukee, and our involvement in and commitment to the racing community. Thank you Dan Roche and Zachary Radtke for your presentation. At Briggs, we are committed to providing educational opportunities for our employees. We believe that understanding our products, customers and operations is key to our success, and we want our employees to have a comprehensive view of our company. #briggsandstratton #motorsports #milwaukeemanufacturing #employeeexperience #PeopleMakeTheDifference

Yesterday, employees gathered in Milwaukee to learn about the Indian festival of lights, Diwali. It's a five-day celebration of the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and wisdom over ignorance. Employees learned dances, tried on traditional Indian clothing, and tasted sweet treats that were handmade by their colleagues. We hope all who celebrated had a joyous Diwali! #BriggsandStratton #Diwali #employeeexperience #PeopleMaketheDifference

Recognition is a big part of Briggs & Stratton's culture. With so many different job types and expertise across our company, evaluating employee awards requires a cross-functional team of experts to ensure proper representation and amplification. “I don’t always understand the details of each Commitment to WIN submission, so having members from each area to explain why a specific action was so important is critical. I know these colleagues better now, and when I see them, I stop and chat,” said Ingrid Kiepert, HR generalist. "The submissions are a best practice for problem-solving, so I’ve been able to think about how to apply the solutions to my group. I get real-time learnings, and know I can tap any member for help since they each have different specialties,” said Robert Pomeroy, senior product manager. #OneBriggs #Briggsandstratton #PoweredByPossibilities #employeeexperience
