Each month, we recognize an employee who embodies one of Brightspot's core values; we call this LOV - "living our values." Matthew Hajek is our November recipient for his continued care of all things tech here at Brightspot. Matthew's time is spent working behind the scenes to support all of our internal and external efforts...and to remind us to turn things off and turn them back on again. This month, we are especially grateful for his help in implementing changes to our internal software systems. We could not continue to be anywhere near as bright without him! Thank you, Matthew!

Brightspot had the pleasure of hosting our annual Educational Retreat last month! This year's adventure took us on a split program in Ireland. 🍀 Attendees began their journey in the lush countryside, greeted by the charming horse & hound welcome at Adare Manor and enjoyed a stay at the luxurious Europe Hotel & Resort by Killarney Hotels Collection. After a few days there, the group headed by train to the The Shelbourne in the heart of Dublin, where they traversed the city via E-bike, explored Trinity College Dublin's old library containing the Book of Kells, and enjoyed an authentic Irish food tour. A huge thank you to Wallace Travel Group DMC for providing their expertise to help make our clients feel appreciated.

Amy, Kaylee, and Gabi recently returned from a 3-night meeting program in Huntington Beach, California! 450 attendees consisting of top performers and executives enjoyed education-packed sessions, breakouts, and meetings at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa. When attendees were not busy learning and networking, they enjoyed evening happy hours, delicious dinners, and even a little fun in the sun! We thoroughly enjoyed working with all our event partners, including BEST-VIP Chauffeured Worldwide and Hyatt Regency to cultivate a memorable meeting and make our attendees feel valued. Thank you to everyone involved in making this program excellent!

The stakes were sizzling at our client’s epic annual Chili Challenge, right here in our own back yard! Nearly 300 chili fans and 33 teams rolled up ready to cook, taste, and crown the ultimate chili champ of the year. It was a spicy showdown you had to taste to believe!🌶️ A huge thank you to: Kim Dierks, Kim Fox, Stacie, Steven, Ethan, Gabi, Chloe, Erin, Grace, Ryann, Meredith, Juli, and Kate for all playing a role in planning and executing this event! 🏆 Brightspot Incentives & Events is Honored to Be Nominated for the 2025 SITE Crystal Award! We’re thrilled to announce that our Alcon 2024 President's Club Trip to Portugal has earned a spot on the shortlist for the prestigious SITE Crystal Award in the "Excellence in Incentive Travel: Europe" category! 🌍 In April, 99 attendees were treated to a 5-night stay at the luxurious Penha Longa Resort in Sintra. The week was filled with incredible food, cooking classes, wine tasting, jeep tours, and city outings as a token of appreciation and recognition for the group's commitment.
