  • For Colorado Gives Day, we're highlighting our fundraising campaign for Hard Hats for Habitat with Habitat for Humanity Fort Collins. We work with the Hard Hats Steering Committee and other local general contractors and trade partners to raise $100,000 and volunteer our time to build a home for a local family every year. Habitat for Humanity Fort Collins is a partner with Poudre High School's Geometry in Construction program, which provides high school math students hands-on experience as they apply knowledge learned in geometry to house construction. The houses these students complete are then moved to their final neighborhood and sold to a Habitat for Humanity homebuyer family. For more about GIC, check out this video: https://lnkd.in/gd6q78Fu This year's Habitat for Humanity Fort Collins homebuyer is Sarah, a Fort Collins resident since 2019 who dreamed of finding an affordable home in which to raise her young daughter. "We are honored to represent Habitat for Humanity and thankful for this gift of a lifetime. This will be our forever home, where my daughter can grow up with family gatherings, birthdays, first and last days of school, playdates, and neighborhood gatherings through the years," said Sarah, when she learned that she was accepted as a 2025 Habitat for Humanity homebuyer. "We look forward to the adventure!" • This Colorado Gives Day, we at Brinkman Construction want to highlight some of the many organizations and charities we've worked with, like Habitat for Humanity Larimer County, GiveNext, Boys & Girls Club Larimer County, 3 Hopeful Hearts, the CSU Construction Management scholarship program, IMDSA Bowl-A-thon, and Colorado Youth Outdoors. That's not to mention organizations that our employees personally volunteer in, give to, and otherwise support! Giving back to our community is a central part of what makes us who are are. We offer all employees time off for volunteering work, and regularly organize company-wide volunteer events throughout the year. Today, we extend our gratitude to our employees for helping us support so many amazing organizations, and encourage everyone to get involved! #BrinkmanConstruction #DriventoBuild #ColoradoGivesDay
