Ring Energy has agreed to acquire Lime Rock Resources' assets in the Permian Basin for $100 million. The deal includes approximately 6,000 acres in Andrews County, Texas, with current production of about 2,200 BOE/d. Elk Range Royalties has increased its asset base by acquiring mineral and royalty interests from Newton Financial, Concord Oil Company, and Mission Oil Company in the Permian and Eagle Ford basins. The acquisitions add roughly 13,500 net royalty acres to Elk Range's holdings. The deal includes 28 drilled but uncompleted wells and 76 permits, setting the stage for near-term cash flow increases. Since January 2024, Elk Range has invested over $141 million in such acquisitions, signalling strong growth prospects through 2025. Diamondback Energy is set to reduce its debt following a massive $26 billion acquisition of Endeavor Energy Resources by dropping down $4.45 billion in mineral and royalty interests to its subsidiary, Viper Energy. The deal, involves Diamondback exchanging these interests for approximately $1 billion in cash and 69.6 million units of Viper's operating subsidiary. Diversified Energy has announced plans to acquire Maverick Natural Resources for $1.275 billion, marking a significant expansion into the Permian Basin. The deal will increase Diversified's enterprise value to approximately $3.8 billion and boost its production to around 1,200 MMcfe/d (approximately 200,000 boe/d) with the addition of Maverick's 350 MMcfe/d. Following the acquisition, EIG, which backs Maverick, will hold about 20% of Diversified's ordinary shares.
