It's been another exciting week for venture activity in the buildings and infrastructure space. Here is this week's Deal Tracker! Tokamak Energy, based in Oxfordshire, UK, has secured $125 million in funding from a consortium of global investors, including Legal & General Capital, M&G Investments, and JIMCO (Jameel Investment Management Co.). These funds aim to drive the development of fusion energy. Aquaria, a startup based in San Francisco and Austin, Texas, has raised $112 million to advance its atmospheric water generation technology, which extracts water from the air. The funding round included investors like Mistletoe, Inc., Soma Capital, Bow Capital, and others. The company is looking to deploy its technology in communities, cities, and industries lacking traditional water infrastructure. Silfab Solar Inc., a Canadian-based solar panel manufacturer for buildings and homes, raised $100 million in new financing to scale its solar cell manufacturing facility in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The funding includes a $50 million equity investment led by ARC Financial Corp. and $50 million in green loan financing from Breakwall Capital LP. I've been named to BuiltWorlds list of Top 50 Global AEC Adoption Leaders! Anyone who's worked closely with me knows I come out swinging. The recognition I've received for this short year's accomplishments has been incredibly validating. It's a testament to the value of continuous learning, power in numbers, and thoughtful leadership. Particular thanks on that last point go out to Jeff Evans, Paul Bosa, Mike McDonough, Renato Abiarraj de Souza and Joshua Leslie for giving me the perspective and permission to make this year's achievements possible.
