We're at it again! The WNY Impact Investment Fund is excited to announce a $750,000 investment into 3AM Innovations Inc., a Buffalo-based software company with a platform FLORIAN, that is quickly achieving national scale. FLORIAN replaces the old analog system of tracking first responders by creating a precise, real-time, three-dimensional image of them at the scene. After years developing this technology, the company is now achieving great traction and promises to save lives in the process. On behalf of the Fund and CEO Tom Quinn, we'd like to congratulate the 3AM team including Mel Passarelli, Katie Sullivan, Ryan Litt, Patrick OConnor and Izzy Rufat on the start of a wonderful partnership. We can't wait to begin this journey with you at an exciting time in the company's trajectory. We'd also like to thank Jay Knavel, chief of the Orchard Park Fire District, and Michael Carey, chief of OP's Windom Fire Hall, for graciously allowing us to visit their base of operation and explaining their use of Florian. These guys dedicate a big chunk of their lives to keeping the community safe, and we hope our backing FLORIAN plays a small role in keeping them safe too. (Link to our full announcement in the comments) Hat tip to Mark Duggan for the top-notch photos.
