We were proud to coordinate a successful Cadaver Lab at CAMLS in Tampa, FL, in collaboration with the University of South Florida’s Urogynecology Fellowship Program (USF FPMRS). This hands-on session provided fellows and attending physicians with the opportunity to practice multiple sling approaches, further strengthening our partnership with USF FPMRS. The goal of the lab was to enhance training and product trials, ultimately improving women’s quality of life. Special thanks to Dr. Brent Parnell for proctoring the event! We’re excited to continue supporting this vital work in urogynecology. #CalderaMedical #USFFPMRS #Urogynecology #HandsOnLearning #WomensHealth #MedicalTraining

As flu season brings more coughing and sneezing, stress urinary incontinence (SUI) can become more common for women, often triggered by pressure on the bladder. We're sharing valuable information to help your patients understand why they might experience leaks when they cough or sneeze. This could be a sign of SUI, a condition linked to weakened pelvic floor muscles, often exacerbated by age, pregnancy, and menopause. Be sure to pass along this resource from our sister company, Pelvic Awareness Project to your patients and remind them that effective treatments can help manage and even reduce symptoms. Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) Trivia Time! Which of the following statements about POP is INCORRECT? A) POP results from weakened pelvic floor muscles and connective tissue support. B) POP always presents with symptoms such as pressure or discomfort. C) Risk factors for POP include age, childbirth, obesity, and connective tissue disorders. D) Treatment options for POP range from pelvic floor therapy to surgical intervention. Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) is a common but often under-discussed condition affecting millions of women worldwide. It occurs when the pelvic floor muscles and connective tissue are unable to adequately support pelvic organs like the bladder, uterus, or rectum, leading them to drop or press into the vaginal canal. 💡 Share your answer in the comments, and check back soon to see if you’re correct! #PelvicHealth #CalderaMedical #TriviaTime
