The expansive breakrooms, open and flexible by design, seamlessly integrate with adjacent spaces to accommodate both large meetings and training sessions. Located in Pensacola, the new Ambulatory Surgery Center for Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery (GCPS) is a cutting-edge medical facility designed to offer a premium patient experience, incorporating the latest advancements in cosmetic surgery technology. Spanning 7,000 square feet, the new addition to the GCPS campus features an efficiently designed layout, including a welcoming reception area, two state-of-the-art operating rooms, a pre-operative and recovery suite with a central nurses’ station for optimal workflow. Additional spaces include administrative offices, a staff lounge, breakroom, and essential back-of-house support areas. A sophisticated palette of warm, neutral tones, creates a serene and calming environment for patients, while ensuring functionality for medical professionals.

Yesterday we broke ground on the new 22,000 sf District 1 Medical Examiner' office. This long overdue community asset is perhaps the only joint project ever conceived between four counties - Escambia, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Okaloosa Counties. Centrally located in Santa Rosa County, this facility will provide desperately needed clinical spaces to serve families, medical personnel, and law enforcement across the growing populations in these four counties. The new MEO will include six autopsy investigation stations, administration space, an enclosed secure sally port, and increased capacity for evidence storage. This facility is designed to the National Association of Medical Examiners (N.A.M.E) design standards. Wharton-Smith, Inc.
