Following a successful Phase I proof of concept, the Callentis-PennState team has been awarded the Phase II contract of this USDOT SBIR project to develop an embedded sensor system for measuring pore solution resistivity in concrete materials and structures. It was wonderful attending the American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) Digital Transformation Summit 2024 and representing our client, Callentis Consulting Group. I got to chat with many friends and colleagues and meet some new folks. There were so many amazing and electrifying panels on improving the citizen experience and the digital transformation journey. The advice and thoughts shared was really actionable advice to accelerate transformation and change management. I loved the rotating brainstorming sessions. That was dynamic and we got to discuss real-world situations and brainstorm innovative solutions. It was 🔥. Shawn C. and Shelby Hritz showcased the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration "Spot the Station" app, which Callentis Consulting Group helped develop. You can track the International Space station and it can alert you when it is visible in your time zone. Check it out! 🚀 At the end of the event, we got to relax and chat with colleagues with a glass of wine while watching the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration moon landing. It was the first US moon landing in 50 years. It was awesome to experience this with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration folks and the energy was electric.
