𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐍𝐂 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐁𝐇𝟕𝟒 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝟐 𝟓𝟓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐏 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐕𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝟐? I recently received a great question about the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance of these headsets. Honestly, all business-grade headsets with ANC are quite comparable. However, one key point to remember is that ANC—no matter the brand or model—doesn't block out all background noise. Human voices, for example, can still be heard even with ANC activated. I wrote a blog that dives deeper into this topic, explaining how ANC works and what to expect: Understanding ANC Technology in Professional-Grade Headsets – Jabra, Poly, Yealink, EPOS, and Logitech.(𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴) When comparing the Yealink BH74 to the Jabra Evolve2 55 and HP Poly Voyager Focus 2, the BH74 performs slightly better in terms of ANC. Like most ANC headsets, it’s particularly effective at blocking low-frequency noises like air conditioner hums or distant traffic, but higher-frequency sounds, such as voices, are harder to cancel completely. If you're deciding between these models, remember to also consider other features, comfort, and microphone performance.
