We do not like saying goodbye. But it does make it easier when we’re getting to wave off one of our all-time favorites into a happy retirement. Roxy has been with C&V for 16 years, and by the end of that run she had become the Chief Financial Officer of C&V. And she didn’t just help steer the finances of the ship; Roxy became an integral part of C&V leadership. Roxy’s fingerprints are all over C&V, but her charge to dig in and create an Employee Stock Ownership Plan is truly a lasting legacy of her time and effort. But most important? We just love her. We’ll miss her. Thanks, Roxy.

Answer: C&V has a four-day work week because we’re not asking anyone to “balance” life and work. We integrate work better into our lives by giving ourselves a little more time to play. And funny enough, we find it helps us enjoy work and life a lot more.

We’ve been partners with Netflix from some of the earliest days – like before “streaming” even entered the lexicon. So when Netflix announced that DVD.com was ending it’s run, we were so honored that they chose us to work on a very special send-off – a coffee table book that showcased the history and culture of DVD.com. We conducted dozens of interviews. We dug into the archives for pictures. We implemented digital elements for a multimedia experience, and managed the press and production process. And oh yeah, we also wrote and designed the whole thing. Proud to deliver something so cool to the folks that delivered joy to so many.

We pair well with influencers. 🍷 When WA Wine came to us asking how to reach a younger audience, we knew that content driven by creators — offering their own unique takes on the “Get Curious. Can you turn a passion into a profession? You bet. We love showing local high schoolers what an average day for a designer looks like when they’re creating art. They spent the day with us concepting, creating, and presenting social posts for one of our favorite local brands. The results were so good that we get to share them on #YokesFreshMarket social.
