  • GIVING TUESDAY ❤️ “Ridley is an amazing dog who brings joy to everyone around, people and dog friends! Elise loves to take Ridley for walks around our neighborhood to say hi to our neighbors and dog friends Ridley has made! Because of Ridley, Elise has had the opportunity to make new friends and have doggie play dates with many of our neighbors and their dogs. Elise has always enjoyed meeting new people, and Ridley makes it even easier with his friendly smile and wagging tail! We are so thankful for Ridley and the joy he brings to our lives. We could never thank Canine Assistants enough for bringing him and Elise together. For Giving Tuesday, please consider supporting Canine Assistants because they work so hard to make a huge impact on the lives of all the dogs and humans they bring together!” -Jenny, Elise’s mom 🐾 We need your help to get more life-changing dogs to people in need. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eVgm8XGJ #GivingTuesday #nonprofit #servicedog #donate

#didyouknow ⁉ Having a dog trained in detecting seizures and other epilepsy-related tasks may reduce seizure frequency, increase the number of seizure-free days, and improve quality of life. New research recently published in "Neurology," the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, suggests exactly that for people who live with drug-resistant epilepsy. At UCB, we continue to reimagine our leadership and how we can make a meaningful difference to those living with #epilepsy and #raresyndromes. We understand the challenges that come with living with and caring for someone with seizures. These encouraging findings reiterate why we actively and strategically seek collaborations that provide long-term value to those living with epilepsy and their families, such as our partnership with Canine Assistants. For over two decades, we have partnered with this incredible non-profit organization to teach and provide seizure response dogs to children and adults living with seizures so they can focus on the moments that matter. 🐕 ➡ Read more about Canine Assistants - and these amazing puppies with a purpose - and some of our other support programs here: https://lnkd.in/eFCc95Ch   #Neurology
