Daily Hard Tech Headlines: - Helsing has launched Resilience Factories, the first being in Southern Germany, which will produce 1,000 HX-2s (strike drones) per month. - Heven has revealed its new hydrogen-powered UAS. - TE Connectivity, the electronics manufacturer, has acquired Richards Manufacturing, an electric and gas equipment producer. The total deal size is $2.3B. - Neros Technologies has announced the Neros Archer, which becomes "the first FPV drone on the Blue UAS list." The long-range FPV drone is "capable of carrying a 2 kg/4.5 lb payload over 20 kilometers." The UAS is manufactured in the United States, and they have been working with DIU and the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory to further refine Archer. - Open X has announced the first international shipment of its COLAB to Japan. - Circuit has raised a $17M Series B. The startup is focused on first/last-mile mobility for consumers using electric shuttles. - Vale, the Brazilian mining firm, will invest over $12B in its Carajás complex in Northern Brazil. By 2030, iron ore production is expected to reach 200 million tons per year. - Apptronik has raised a $350M Series A. The startup, which develops humanoid robots for solutions such as trailer unloading, machine tending, case picking, and more, had its round co-led by Capital Factory & B Capital - A new oil export port off the coast of Brazoria County, Texas, is being moved forward by Sean Duffy, the United States Secretary of Transportation. This port will enable 1 million barrels to be shipped per day. - Evergreen, the global shipping conglomerate, is spending $3B to order 24,000 TEU ultra-large containerships, according to gCaptain. - Canine Defense Technologies has introduced the Genesis Edge AI UAS. Genesis is designed to operate on-prem with edge computing and is “optimized for mass manufacturing, modularity, and a smoother end-user experience.” Genesis is powered by ARK Electronics.
