Since October 17, 2016, Danielle has been a dedicated member of the Canyon Home Care & Hospice family, serving at the Salt Lake Corporate office. Over the years, she has held various titles until finding her special place in Medical Records. Danielle's journey with Canyon is marked by her consistent commitment and passion for her work. Danielle proudly states, "I have to say that I work with the most caring individuals I've had the pleasure to work with. Not really co-workers but Family is how it feels to be with all of you." Her sentiment reflects the strong bond and supportive environment she experiences daily. In her role in Medical Records, Danielle finds fulfillment in knowing that she contributes to the care process for patients, even though she isn't in the field anymore. "Knowing folks choosing to have Canyon in their home is plenty of motivation for me to achieve my daily goals," she shares. Outside of work, Danielle is an avid outdoors person who thrives in the sunshine. She loves trying new activities and embracing adventure. A little-known fact about Danielle is her childhood discovery of gold in the Kanawha River in West Virginia, sparking a lifelong fascination. If she could choose only one meal to eat for the rest of her life, it would be street tacos – a testament to her love for delicious, flavorful food. Danielle's dedication, enthusiasm, and adventurous spirit make her a valued member of the Canyon team. Congratulations, Danielle, on being our Employee of the Month for January!

December Employee of the Month! We are delighted to announce Fran as the Employee of the Month for December! Fran has been a dedicated member of the Canyon team since January 2020, and his commitment and passion have significantly impacted the Salt Lake Branch, where he serves as one of the CNA Coordinators. Fran's journey with Canyon began after his experience in senior living, seeking growth and new learning opportunities within the industry. He joined Canyon initially as a CNA and quickly progressed to his current role by the summer of 2020. His dedication and drive to enhance his skills and leadership abilities have made him an integral part of the team. One of Fran’s favorite aspects of working at Canyon is the inclusive and approachable company culture. He appreciates that Canyon fosters an environment where everyone, regardless of their position, can share ideas and collaborate as equals. This open-mindedness and willingness to embrace change and improvement set Canyon apart as a model workplace. Fran finds great satisfaction in his work by making others' lives easier. He thrives on identifying challenges, developing solutions, and simplifying processes for his colleagues. His problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm and centered, even in difficult situations, have been honed at Canyon, allowing him to effectively communicate and support his team. Outside of work, Fran enjoys relaxing with a good movie, series, or anime, playing the drums, and engaging in various DIY projects. He also loves spending time in a hammock and sharing photos of his beloved nephews. An interesting fact about Fran is his passion for travel—he has visited over ten countries and enjoys learning about different cultures. Branch Director Mandy speaks highly of Fran, highlighting his exceptional dedication to patient care and his support for his colleagues.
