Our client, a high-profile National Trade Association in McLean, VA, seeks an experienced CFO to oversee the Controller, Treasury operations, and FP&A functions of the association and its related entities. This position will be responsible for setting financial strategies, ensuring fiscal responsibilities, and working with external auditors. Individual will be responsible for banking relationships, leases, and oversight of outside investment advisors. This position reports to the CEO and will lead the accounting and finance team. Successful candidate will interact with Audit & Executive Committees, Board of Directors, and association membership. Ideal background will include a CPA or MBA with several years of financial experience in a financial leadership role. Only local candidates will be considered. Compensation is $400K base + bonus. The role will manage all the accounting functions of the plant to include cost / inventory accounting, AP/AR, Month and Year End Close and the development of internal control policies and procedures.
