𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Hongwei Han Next on our #CarbonClub line-up is Hongwei Han from wuhan national laboratory for optoelectronics (WNLO) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Hongwei Han is a renowned expert in the field of printable mesoscopic solar cells. He received his BS degree in Applied Chemistry and his Ph.D. degree in Condensed Matter Physics from Wuhan University in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Following his doctoral studies, he furthered his research as a postdoctoral fellow at Monash University in Australia for two years. Since joining HUST and WNLO in 2008, he has been at the forefront of solar cell research. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals such as Science, Nature Chemistry, Nature Communications, and J. Am. Chem. Soc., Professor Han's contributions to the field are significant and impactful. In recognition of his outstanding work, he was honored as a ‘Changjiang Scholars Program-Distinguished Professor’ in 2016. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Clemens Baretzky Next on our #CarbonClub line-up is Clemens Baretzky from Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE. Clemens Baretzky is a passionate Doctoral researcher at Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE, where he specializes in the characterization and simulation of metal-organic perovskites. His research focuses on steady-state and transient photoluminescence spectroscopy, providing critical insights into the behavior and efficiency of perovskite solar cells. Clemens holds a Master of Physics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where his thesis centered on scanning tunneling spectroscopy of magnetic atoms and molecules. Following his master’s degree, Clemens further enhanced his practical experience at Greengineers GmbH, where he applied his skills to real-world challenges in renewable energy. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Francesca De Rossi Today we are pleased to introduce Francesca De Rossi from the University of Rome Tor Vergata as one of our speakers at the upcoming #CarbonClub conference! Dr. De Rossi is a trailblazer in the field of solar energy, holding a PhD in Telecommunications and Microelectronics Engineering, specializing in flexible dye solar cells. Following her PhD, Dr. De Rossi expanded her horizons by spending nearly four years abroad as a Technology Transfer Fellow at #SPECIFIC Innovation and Knowledge Centre, Swansea University (UK). There, she collaborated with the PV team led by Trystan Watson, focusing on the upscaling of printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells and leading the stability activity within the group. Currently, her current research revolves around the development of smartly designed, fully printed perovskite solar cells on flexible substrates for space and indoor applications, pushing the envelope of what is possible in solar energy technology.
