About us
Carbonxt’s core business is the development and sale of specialized and advanced activate carbon products, including powdered activated carbon (PAC) and activated carbon pellets for the removal of pollutants and toxins in industrial processes. Our products are used in industrial air purification, waste water treatment and other liquid and gas phase markets, primarily for the capture of mercury and Sulphur in order to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, as required by global regulations such as MATS. Carbonxt offers several key competitive advantages including: • Non-brominated products – Carbonxt’s products are non-halogenated thus eliminating corrosion concerns to equipment and plant infrastructure while still providing performance comparable to or better than brominated alternatives. • Industry-leading R&D – The Carbonxt team was specifically built with experts trained in mercury capture, flue gas, and activated carbon. • Partnership with Utilities - Carbonxt has embraced a unique business perspective whereby we consider the purchasers of our products not as “customers” but rather as our “partners.” This speaks to our complete confidence in our R&D team’s ability to provide performance enhancements to our products resulting in lower costs to our partners (either via lower injection rates or product processing efficiencies). • Manufacturing - Carbonxt manufactures all products, including pellets, in the United States.

Ever wonder how PFAS travels from its source to your community's water supply? These ""forever chemicals"" begin their journey at industrial sites, moving through soil and groundwater in ways that traditional water treatment can't stop. PFAS bypasses conventional filtration systems, affecting entire watersheds and ultimately reaching drinking water sources. At Carbonxt, we provide innovative activated carbon solutions for PFAS remediation. Our technology captures both short-chain and long-chain PFAS, seamlessly integrating with water treatment processes to remove PFAS from the water supply. Every year, industrial companies pay millions in fines for environmental violations, including volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. For industrial plants, these emissions pose both environmental compliance challenges and workplace safety concerns. Carbonxt offers two powerful solutions to help you address VOCs and other organic contaminants in your plant. Our Cxt-ACP80 and Cxt-ACP60 pelletized activated carbon sorbents are specifically engineered for air phase applications and industrial gas purification. Made in the U.S. and available in various diameters, these high-quality sorbents offer superior adsorption capacity, with Cxt-ACP80 requiring fewer regeneration cycles for more efficient operation. "The presence of PFAS in America's farmland is a growing threat to our food and water safety. Researchers have discovered these ""forever chemicals"" in agricultural soil across the country, primarily from contaminated biosolid fertilizers. Farmers apply over 2.4 million tons of biosolids to their land annually, and each application increases PFAS levels in soil and water. The chemicals seep into soil and groundwater, eventually contaminating crops, drinking water supplies, and the health of both livestock and farmers who work the land. Read more about what the USDA is doing to tackle the problem: https://lnkd.in/gtNCRrfn The PFAS problem is complex, with action needed at every level, from legislation to awareness to viable solutions. At Carbonxt, we're committed to doing our part to safeguard public health, meet EPA compliance guidelines, and reduce environmental impact. https://lnkd.in/gR5BZeqT
