Two weeks ago I was able to attend the "Agency of Knowledge – Whose Spaces, Whose Knowledges? Conversations about landscape, architecture, and urbanism" Symposium in Copenhagen, and had a brilliant day listening to a range of speakers from the arts, academia, the public sector, and citizens. Throughout, the clear theme of democratizing knowledge linked a range of disciplines, highlighting the need to deeply listen to different voices (especially those often unheard or excluded) and ensure representation not just in the words we speak but the places, cities and buildings we plan for, design, build and live in. Some crucial messages that I'm keen to explore further within my PhD and within the CARDIMED EU project! Thanks to BLOXHUB for organizing such an inspiring event!
