Congratulations to CareerSource Gulf Coast's Kodi Linton, who coordinates the The Able Trust Florida High School High Tech program in Gulf County. Kodi was awarded the Youth Leadership and Development guidepost award for putting students into ongoing volunteer opportunities to build skills, responsibility, and soft skills. Under Kodi's leadership, student were engaged in leadership activities throughout the county. CareerSource Gulf Coast is pleased to be The Able Trust’s High School High Tech (HSHT) program administrator in Gulf County. This incredible program provides Florida high school students with all types of disabilities the opportunity to explore jobs or postsecondary education leading to in-demand careers. HSHT links youth to a broad range of academic, career development and experiential resources and opportunities that will enable them to better meet the demands of the 21st century workforce.

What a fantastic day CareerSource Gulf Coast staff had at the Alignment Bay County Early Learning Alignment outreach event and book giveaway at Pana-Villa Apartments on Saturday! Executive Director, Kim Bodine, and Special Projects Manager, Jerry Bushee, shared career development and training resources with residents. We were pleased to join ABC and other community partners that support the success of our youth from birth to career.
