Just a few short years ago, Amber—a single mom—was struggling with homelessness, drug addiction, and an abusive relationship. But then she found CaringWorks and today she and her daughters are thriving. They are getting more involved in their community, Amber goes to college and work, and this year—for the first time—she hosted Thanksgiving at her home with family that she hasn't seen in years. As we look ahead to 2025, will you consider making a year-end gift to CaringWorks and provide housing, support, and a future full of hope for more people like Amber? Your contribution could be life-changing for families who just need an opportunity to rebuild their lives. Donate today at caringworksinc.org/donate #caringworks #endhomelessness

Our friends at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center once again hosted some of our families for a fun and festive holiday event! We made s'mores, got pictures with Santa, and participated in a fun art project! We are so grateful for our partnership with the Center and appreciate all they do to arrange special events like these to support our clients and their families. These partnerships are obviously beneficial for our clients, but also for our team members who enjoy the extra support in facilitating meaningful activities. #caringworks #endhomelessness

'Tis the season of gratitude and generosity! We recently received a very generous donation from PPG, thanks to employees at their Atlanta, Kennesaw, East Point, and Fairburn locations who participated in a donation drive of shower kits, hygiene items, diapers, hats, gloves, and more to benefit CaringWorks clients and families. Essentials that most of us take for granted can feel like luxuries to those who have experienced homelessness. Because of compassionate corporate partners like PPG that join together to support those we serve, we're helping our clients feel more comfortable as they work hard to escape homelessness and begin a new chapter in their lives toward stability. #endhomelessness #caringworks

The CDC estimates that more than 5 million adults in the United States have autism spectrum disorder. It wasn’t until 2008 when Martin Guldner was 32 years old that he learned he was one of them. Though he recognized signs earlier, becoming homeless after some challenging life events— including his mother’s death— is what led Martin to connect with people and resources that helped him navigate the process of getting diagnosed. Through his journey from homelessness to stability, Martin has become an active autism and disability advocate and volunteer. Read more about his journey. #endhomelessness #autismawareness #autismadvocate #caringworks

CaringWorks helps nearly 1,000 people a year break the cycle of homelessness and maintain stable housing by providing quality short-term and long-term housing, behavioral health, and a myriad of support services. Will you make a #GivingTuesday gift to support CaringWorks and our mission to end homelessness throughout metro Atlanta? Donate at caringworksinc.org/donate #endhomelessness #caringworks
