The mission of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 1 is to support the U.S. Chief of Naval Operation's Maritime Strategy by promoting regional partnerships and deterring crisis. CSG-1 conducts carrier air warfare operations and assist in the planning, control, coordination and integration of air wing squadrons in support of carrier air warfare.
