In December, the CASAJWC team voted to hold our annual Staff Holiday Party in January to get past the busy holiday season. Yesterday afternoon, we were able to celebrate together! We started with a fun gift exchange at the office, sharing some thoughtful surprises and plenty of laughs. Then, we headed to Silo Modern Farmhouse to enjoy an incredible four-course meal in celebration of KC Restaurant Week. We are all incredibly grateful for these moments that bring our team closer together. 💙

The #CASAJWC office will be closed on Monday, January 20th, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This day serves as an opportunity to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy of equality, justice, and service. We encourage everyone to honor his memory by finding ways to give back and create positive change in our communities. Big News at #CASAJWC! 🎉 Thanks to the incredible generosity of one of our funders, our Training Room has received a much-needed upgrade with state-of-the-art technology! This enhancement will create a more engaging and impactful experience for our CASA advocates during training sessions. It doesn’t stop there—this technology will also elevate every meeting we host, from strategic discussions with funders and board members to meaningful connections with our community partners. We’re so grateful for this investment and can’t wait to see the positive impact it will have! 💙

Yesterday, #CASAJWC team members, Esther and Courtney, joined Garmin for their MLK Day of Service Fair! ✨ Garmin is stepping up to make a difference for the youth we serve by hosting a donation drive to collect cozy pajamas, stuffed animals, and blankets for children in foster care. 💙 At the fair, we had the chance to connect with Garmin employees, share our mission, and raise awareness about how their support directly impacts the youth we serve.
