  • I've seen a lot of controversy around ballistic glass and its effectiveness. If you take a look at some of the photos below, rolling glass has taken multiple shots from 30.06, stood up just fine, and didn't even crack the backside glass. Now this is an EXTREME use case, these are built to protect a guy who has a significant place in the government ;) So what's the use case that happens most often? Almost every company, public entity, etc., is most concerned about protecting their people. In the security world, delaying an attacker is one of the most important things professionals try to make a reality. The reality is that Clear Armor's 15-minute delayed protection gives people a reasonable amount of time to escape and evade threats. As the most basic level of protection available and the most reasonably priced, you can add a layer of confusion to potential bad guys. Other use cases: bomb blasts, loss prevention, UV protection, Climate Control, Impact resistance, Rock chip mitigation, and many others. Our next demo is coming up on Feb 6th, 11 AM central. Send us a message, and we can get you on the demo. Jeffery G. Chuck FreibergMark J. Mills Kent Chivington Derek Kottke

  • Failing to provide patrol officers with proper bulletproof gear poses several critical risks: - Increased Mortality and Injury Rates: Officers without suitable armor are more vulnerable to gunfire, leading to higher fatalities and serious injuries.   - Reduced Morale and Confidence: Lack of adequate protection can impact officers' confidence and mental health, affecting their performance in dangerous situations. - Higher Operational Costs: Medical expenses, disability pensions, and recruitment costs for injured or fallen officers can be significant. - Decreased Public Trust: Perceptions of inadequate protection can undermine community trust in law enforcement, reducing cooperation. - Legal Repercussions: Police departments may face lawsuits for negligence when officers are not adequately equipped, straining budgets. - Recruitment Challenges: Departments that provide better protective gear may attract more talent, leaving under-equipped forces at a disadvantage. - Impact on Tactics: Officers may adopt more cautious tactics, leading to slower response times and increased risks. - Reputation Issues: Incidents involving harmed officers due to inadequate protection can result in negative media coverage and public scrutiny. - Training Challenges: Lack of proper gear can hinder effective training and readiness for confrontations. - Long-term Health Effects: Non-lethal injuries can lead to chronic pain and psychological trauma, affecting officers' quality of life. Equipping patrol officers with advanced bulletproof technology enhances their safety and the overall effectiveness of law enforcement. We proudly distribute Tru Armor products, soon offering the lightweight, high-protection Level 3 NIJ vests, the lightest on the market, without the issues associated with ceramic plates. 😊 Casualty Prevention alex trudeau Dave Trudeau Jeffery G. • Many of us grew up hearing, “What, do you think I’m made of money?” When people grow up to be security professionals, they hear the same thing, “What, do you think I’m made of Money?” Since that is often truer than not, companies are forced to find money from within that doesn’t usually exist. Since Covid, many companies have seen a significant decline in cash flow. That means many projects get put on hold, reprioritized, or the status quo continues. Your plans to protect people do not have to be put on hold if you can find the proper grants. Safety is paramount in today's world. Here’s why it's essential to use all available grants for security products: Financial Efficiency: Grants allow us to bolster security without financial strain, redirecting savings to other public sector needs. Access to Advanced Technology: Funding from grants can equip the public sector with the latest security innovations. Building Community Trust: Utilizing grants demonstrates a commitment to safety, fostering confidence among the community and staff. Compliance with Standards: Grants help the public sector meet or exceed safety regulations effortlessly. Long-Term Investment: Security upgrades funded by grants provide lasting protection. Holistic Security Approach: Grants fund technology, training, and preparedness programs, which are crucial for proactive safety measures. Moral Imperative: We must use every resource for public safety. Action Steps: Research: Regularly look for new grant opportunities. Apply: Go for multiple grants to increase funding chances. Collaborate Partner with local bodies to maximize grant access. Accountability: Show how funds enhance safety and maintain community trust. Every grant you secure is a step towards a safer public. If this seems overwhelming, you need assistance, or you want to learn more, please join us at our next public safety demo. Depending on your needs, we will demonstrate laminated glass that reduces loss prevention and unauthorized entry or bulletproof glass. We will also demonstrate bulletproof armament for vehicles. We will have grant writers available to discuss your funding needs on December 5th, 11 a.m. Central. #SchoolSafety #Grants #EducationInvestment Jeffery G. Chuck Freiberg Mark J.
