Building Minds, Changing Lives

About us

Our Mission: The Catholic Schools Foundation changes lives by providing families with demonstrated financial need an opportunity to give their sons and daughters a quality education, focused on Christian values and character formation at Catholic Schools located throughout the Archdiocese of Boston, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or gender. The Inner-City Scholarship Fund is the signature program of The Catholic Schools Foundation. Through this fund, thousands of children in need receive partial scholarships to attend Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston. Scholarships are given primarily to students in high poverty neighborhoods and are awarded without regard to race, religion, national origin or gender. The Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF) provides volunteer, social and networking opportunities through the ICSF Young Leaders for business professionals to get involved in the efforts of the Catholic Schools Foundation. Updates

  • Last Friday, CSF's Executive Director Mike Reardon and Director of Allocations and Operations Megan Adzima had the pleasure of catching up with scholar alumna Mariana Hincapie over lunch while she was home on break after her first semester at College of the Holy Cross. 🎓✨ Mariana, a former CSF scholar at Malden Catholic, last year’s Gala speaker, and a Harrison Scholarship recipient, has been thriving! She had an incredible first semester, balancing her studies, joining the cheer team, and working at Nativity School in Worcester. Mariana plans to study business, and we can’t wait to see everything she will accomplish. 👏📚 #CSF #WeChangeLives

  • "Recently, at the Catholic Schools Foundation, we received an emergency scholarship fund request from a family struggling to maintain housing, never mind keeping their child in Catholic school. The one stable thing in their life is their child's school. As we celebrate this Christmas Season, it is with profound gratitude to those who choose to support the students and families we serve. People who understand that their support will profoundly and positively impact the lives of students and families for generations." • Jean Marc* attends Catholic School in Medford. Sadly, after a brief illness, Jean Marc's mother passed away, leaving his father as the sole provider for the family. Having immigrated from Haiti, Jean Marc’s father now works long hours as a rideshare driver. Despite having limited formal education, he is deeply committed to giving Jean Marc the opportunities he never had by receiving a quality Catholic education. Jean Marc’s father struggled to cover the cost of his school tuition after the mother’s passing. Through the support of CSF’s Emergency Fund, Jean Marc has been able to continue his Catholic education in a nurturing environment, remaining on track for academic success. Your generosity can help more students like Jean Marc. Donate today and double your impact—your contribution will go twice as far in helping students and their families overcome challenges. - https://lnkd.in/evqXkgMh #CSF #WeChangeLives *Name and photo have been changed to protect students’ privacy.
