Welcome to an integrated health care delivery system focused solely on the people of Long Island.
About us
When it comes to health care, Long Islanders have a choice. And a great many choose Catholic Health, an integrated health care system with deep roots in Long Island. We’re known for our rich heritage, founded in faith, serving the health care needs of our community for more than one hundred years. We’re known for delivering a quality patient experience that stands apart from other health care systems. We see patients and their families as human beings, with needs that go beyond the prescriptions and procedures. We listen and partner. At Catholic Health, we’re committed to creating an exceptional experience of comprehensive care by pairing our phenomenal clinical abilities with the emotional support of the home. It’s through this blend of comfort and confidence that we have an innate understanding of our community and deliver peace of mind to those we serve. This philosophy is backed by doctors, nurses, and medical professionals who are among the best in the country, for cardiology, oncology, orthopedic surgery, neuroscience, women’s health, pediatrics, and senior care. Catholic Health is a leader in complex care, from minimally invasive solutions to robotic surgery and the pinpoint accuracy of non-invasive stereotactic radiation therapy as well as ambulatory procedures that pre-empt the need for hospitalization. Beyond our hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers, Catholic Health members many hundreds of physician practices across Long Island and regional nursing service, helping you to stay on your personal path to optimal wellness. It’s easy to see why Catholic Health is the go-to health care system for so many Long Islanders. We’re here for you, body and soul. Our commitment is well-established, so we decided to shorten our name. Catholic Health Services of Long Island is now Catholic Health.

This Thanksgiving, Bob Nagle is adding St. Joseph Hospital to his list of things to be grateful for after an afternoon round at Bethpage State Park Golf turned into a medical emergency. Nagle, an avid golfer, suddenly experienced severe chest pain while on the green: "I said to myself, I'm having a heart attack. I threw my bag in the car and put directions on for the quickest way to St. Joseph Hospital." He shared that having St. Joseph in his community is a miracle and an asset. Listen to Bob's story and hear from cardiologist Dr. Ralph Caselnova, who also shares the importance of fast treatment for heart attack patients like Bob.

Meet six-year-old Jaiden, who recently came to St. Catherine of Siena Hospital for oral surgery.🦷️ His parents were so appreciative of the care their son received that they sent a grateful letter to the hospital saying, "As this was Jaiden's first time in the hospital setting, he was understandably anxious, and as parents, we were also concerned. However, from the moment we arrived, the team's warmth, professionalism and attention to Jaiden's comfort made all the difference! The entire team embodied the patient-focused care that Catholic Health is known for!" 💙

As we continue to celebrate National Home Care and Hospice Month, we're highlighting members of our team who inspire us and provide the best to our patients. Tanika Burrell-Thomas, Team Manager at Catholic Health Home Care, was inspired to work in Home Care because she always wanted her life to hold a greater purpose than serving herself. “One of the great benefits of working at Catholic Health is being a part of a mission and faith-based organization that strives to serve others and make positive changes in the lives of our neighbors and community. I try to incorporate I-Care values in every encounter, every time.” Interested in growing your career? Explore our available positions today 👉 https://lnkd.in/gWTX9aS5
