A falta de liderazgo, motivación e incentivos económicos para los productores, México da un paso atrás en la producción de alimentos. En otras regiones del mundo se ofrecen alternativas diversas. Una de estas alternativas es la agricultura regenerativa que ha va teniendo un acelerado crecimiento en paises desarrollados y en algunos en vías de desarrollo. Pero, sin apoyo por parte de transformadores de alimentos y entidades gubernamentales, el productor no puede adoptar la práctica regenerativa. La adopción de prácticas regenerativas ha demostrado sus beneficios. Desde un retorno en inversión superior a cualquier otro método, hasta los resultados positivos en la salud de los consumidores.
