CCMR supports small businesses all across New York State, including rsspcts from New York City. Led by Saira Patel, this innovative company is investigating materials for a water tight swim cap that protects textured hair. This disruptive technology will make swimming more accessible and inclusive: "Swimming is an important survival skill,” Patel said. “More people of color might consider swimming, recreationally or for exercise, if they didn’t have to worry about figuring out how to get their hair back together for three hours or spending more money on hair care.” Learn more in this Spectrum News piece from last week: https://lnkd.in/gfBs4ET4 . . . .
