Mrs. Rachael Coffey, an Agricultural Sciences Teacher and co-FFA Advisor at the Cecil County School of Technology has been honored as one of the top three finalists for the nationally recognized Golden Owl Award. This award goes to educators who dedicate countless hours and often their own resources to enriching their students' lives. As a finalist, Mrs. Coffey is in the running to become Maryland's top Agriculture Educator for the 2024-2025 school year.

On Saturday, CCPS hosted its first-ever VEX V5 Robotics Countywide Event at Perryville Middle School, bringing together over 100 students from 18 teams across Maryland. Teams showcased their engineering, coding, and teamwork skills in matches, with Cecil County’s own Team Falcon Storm taking home the prestigious Inspire Award!
