We are super proud of our 2023 Celebrating You, Inc. graduate, Brianna, who will be graduating this month from Prairie View A&M University as an honor student with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice! We celebrated her in June 2023 with her Associate Degree and high school diploma as a member of the high school Class of 2023 (pictures on the left). She had a goal to finish college in 2024 and she did that after only three semesters and two summers. Join Celebrating You, Inc. as we fight childhood hunger in Houston, TX. We will be decorating lunch bags on Nov 23rd for Kids' Meals, Inc. to be used for meals for children ages 5 and under. I am so proud of this young lady here! Mahlah was a Student Ambasador with the Ambassador program I started at my last place of employment. She is a great student, great speaker, and was one of my top "go to" students when we needed someone to speak and represent our school. She has been selected as a Moody College Dean Ambassador at the University of Texas Austin!!! The Moody College Dean’s Ambassadors are some of the college’s most outstanding students and were chosen to serve as brand ambassadors. They represent Moody College throughout the community, engage with prospective students and provide college leadership with feedback and input for programs, marketing and communication efforts. Ambassadors also build our online community through consistent social media engagement. I'm sure her high school experience played a part in her success as an awesome representative for UT. This was absolutely so heart warming to see these 3, 4, & 5 year old little STEM Academy students be so excited about doing the Celebrating You, Inc. Lunch Bag Project for Kids' Meals, Inc.! Thanks to Lj Henderson who always encourages projects and activities that help to make the students well rounded. Meet Yafreisi, a senior who describes herself as a great problem solver, hard-worker, vigilant, and good at multi-tasking. She's in the top 9% of her class, an athlete who plays soccer, and a member of the varsity choir. Her plans are to attend college, major in software development, and minor in communication. Her plans also include pursuing a music career and publishing poetry books.
