One question I get regularly asked from our clients is “surely if you know how to handle batteries at their worst state, you can handle them at their best?” Now, if I’d been asked this last year my response would’ve been something along the lines of “hmmm, good point, this could be an area we’d be open to exploring, l’ll keep you posted!” or “it’s something we may look at in the future, just not at the moment”. Well not anymore! As of this week I’m proud to share that we are now offering storage, maintenance and other services for new, prototype and used (none waste) lithium batteries. Earlier this year, the team got together and discussed what the next steps were for the SER Group. We looked back through the battery supply chain to see what links were missing and that’s when we realised where else we could apply our expertise. Now as I write this post we are less than 2 weeks away from cutting the ribbon on the first of several Cellstorage sites in the UK and I couldn’t be more excited for this new venture!
