From pioneering technical advancements to commercial aviation dominance, the United States has been a leader in the aviation sector since the industry’s inception. In today’s era of global economic development, the aviation industry is projecting major growth and major challenges in the context of rising greenhouse gas emissions. Among the best options for reducing emissions in the near- to mid-term is the deployment and uptake of non-petroleum jet fuel, commonly called Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Following the inaugural year of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Technology Working Group, this new brief outlines four policy recommendations to remove key barriers and support the sustainable commercialization of this critical technology. 📖 https://lnkd.in/exqK3uVE #sustainableaviationfuel #SAF #lowcarbonfuel #cleanenergy

Here’s a first look at our new home at 1400 K Street! 🌿 C2ES is excited to be in Washington D.C., steps away from The White House and the Hill. Our new location strengthens our ability to collaborate with policymakers and partners while offering more space for hosting policy discussions and events. We’re ending the year with a few incredible convenings in the new office, including a lively discussion with Todd Stern—former Special Envoy for Climate Change at the Department of State—and a festive gathering to celebrate our wins this year alongside our community. Major thanks to our incredible Office Manager Sydney Jerabek and our cross-department design team for bringing this vision to life. We look forward to hosting more events here in the new year. Onward! #climate #careers #climatepolicy #climateaction
