The Center for Economic Growth (CEG) is the professional economic and business development engine serving as the primary point of contact for businesses interested in growing in or moving to New York’s 8 county Capital Region. Looking to relocate or expand? In need of entrepreneurship or workforce training services? Interested in business growth resources, support or opportunities? Need help sourcing quality talent? Our professional staff is ready to help guide you. In addition to support from its dedicated investors and partners, the Center for Economic Growth receives significant funding from the NYS Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR), New York’s high-technology economic development agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) / Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) and National Grid. As the designated Regional Technology Development Center for the New York State’s Capital Region and one of nearly 350 MEP locations across the country, CEG is charged with assisting local manufacturing and technology companies generate new sales, create stronger operational infrastructure, and overcome barriers to growth.
